ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This workshop aims to develop individual stories shared by refugees in Berlin coming from different backgrounds and having a wide range of experiences. The goal is to initiate an autonomous experience in storytelling where the author is not dependent on media to translate his journey but has the complete control over his past memories and current challenges.
‘My stories, my terms’ gives the lead to the refugees/authors to write, design and share their own stories, eliminating any sort of agenda, exploitation or external influence.
At the end of the workshop, The work of the participants will be compiled into a visual and textual outcome, written and produced by them. Participants will exchange their stories while ‘my stories, my terms’ will help these outcomes reach the widest audience possible.
تهدف هذه الورشة إلى تطوير القصص الفردية التي يتشاركها اللاجئون في برلين. يعتبر المشروع منصة مستقلة كلياً عن وسائل الإعلام، يملك المشاركون فيها زمام الأمور بشأن ترجمة وإيصال تجربة اللجوء الشخصية بما فيها الذكريات والتحديات الراهنة.
“قصصي حقي” مساحة تفاعلية حرة للاجئين في برلين على اختلاف مشاربهم، تمكّنهم من إطلاق العنان لمواهيهم في كتابة وتصميم ومشاركة قصصهم الخاصة بمنأى عن أي شكل من أشكال الاستغلال الإعلامي والتأثيرات الخارجية.
